PROGRAMMES OF THE DEPARTMENT

The major programmes of ICT Department include:

1. To train groups and individuals on the uses of ICT on man power, development, economic improvement and administrative management.
2. Creating entrepreneurship by educating the youths on the possibilities of skill acquisition through ICT for them to be self reliant.
3. Providing solutions to reduce cost in government administration and to improve on quality service delivery.
4. Enhancing the state internally generated revenue by reducing leakages and creating more revenues.
5. Improving on the existing telecommunication infrastructural facilities and creating new ones for easy information dissemination in conformity with the global trend.
6. Keeping actual record of the city demography through data capturing.
7. Enhancing the National and International relationship of the state through ICT.
