About Us
The Ministry of Border Peace and Conflict Resolution was established in 2007 courtesy of His Excellency the
former Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Martin Elechi to foster Peace in all parts of the State. The vision
of His Excellency Engr. Chief David Umahi Nweze is to put in place a Peaceful and Secure State, with highly
developed critical infrastructures and a Safe Haven for Investment and Capital Inflow and ranking amongst
the five leading States in the Country, to this effect, the Governor sustained the Ministry and appointed a
Deacon and peace maker to handle the affairs of the Ministry.
