Industry Department

The Department of Industry is charged with the responsibilities of creation and proper coordination of industries in the state. Prior to the creation of Ministry of Solid Minerals by His Excellency Engr. Dave Umahi, the department of Industry manned the discovery and development of solid minerals in the state. Some of the industries under the watch of the departments are Ebonyi state Pipe Production Company, Ebonyi state building materials; Ebonyi State industrial estate at Isheke (under construction), Ebonyi state quarry cluster at Umuoghara, Ebonyi Mineral Salt LTD at Enyigba etc.
