The Ministry of Works is subdivided into five functional Departments. The divisions are for administrative convenience and for the delivery of policy thrust of the Ministry. The Departments includes, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Planning Research and Statistics, Finance and Accounts and finally Administrative Department.
These Departments are manned by highly trained and professionally competent personnel employed and posted to the Ministry by the Civil Service Commission of Ebonyi State.
To complement these personnel, the State Government under the Leadership of FON equally procured road construction equipments in addition to conducive office environment for optimal performance.
VISION
Ebonyi State Ministry of Works is delivering a high standard of excellent, quality and safe construction service. We strive not only to execute projects of high standard, but also to develop strong infrastructural framework for generations to come. With commitment towards exceeding expectations, developing Ebonyi State is the ultimate priority of this administration and our true success rest on positive initiatives of His Excellency, RT. HON. FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU, the Governor of Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi State Ministry of works strive hard to deliver the highest standard of excellence, quality and safe service to Ebonyians. We strive to not only build projects, but to also build strong infrastructural development in the State.
