Ebonyi State is a state of Nigeria, in the south of the Eastern region. It is inhabited and populated primarily by Igbo. Its capital and largest city is Abakaliki. It is one of the six states created in 1996 by the Abacha government. Ebonyi was created from parts of both Enugu State and Abia State. It is the location of the Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE MINISTRY: The Ebonyi State Ministry of Trade and Investment was created by the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FSNE FNATE CON to foster rapid and adequate harnessing of investment potentials of Ebonyi State. The Ministry plays strong advisory roles to the State Government on investment and most importantly attracts investors in all sectors to the State.
